June 14 is recognized as Flag Day. But do you know why?

On June 14, 1777 during the Revolutionary War, Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes as the official national flag.

“Resolved, that the Flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the Union be thirteen stars, white on a blue field, representing a new constellation.”

Human versus animal, who will win?

Society has gone mad over the killing of a gorilla while a little boy could have been dragged to his death and the event would have been treated as if he deserved it. Human versus animal, who will win? Apparently, most people think the gorilla should.

Protests are so great the police are now involved. Rest in Peace signs are carried and people cry. The issue is not whether the parents were at fault, but the attitude of people over the value of an ape over the value of a human being.
