The Humility of Wise Men

The Bible tells us wise men from the east came to worship the Christ Child with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. While Herod was searching for the the young King of the Jews to murder Him, Persian men from a non-Jewish background came to bow before the young Jesus in worship.

 These men discovered from the scrolls left behind by Daniel that a King would arise who would be the ultimate King of all.



The greatest gift these men gave to Jesus was the humility of their worship. The greatest gift we can give back to our heavenly Father is to kneel in humility to Him and accept the wonderful offer of life through salvation in Christ. 

When all gifts are opened on Christmas Day, may we remember that God opened His heart and sent His Son as the only baby born whose destiny was to die.

    It is humbling to know that Jesus was born for the cross. He came to save us--that was/is His destiny. I pray we never forget. Thank you for reminding us of this amazing gift of love. Wishing you a blessed 2022.
